Eat the Rainbow: Food Journal is an interesting app for tracking your diet day to day. Of course, the app promotes a varied diet that's rich in fruits and vegetables by encouraging you to eat foods of different colors.
On the home page, you'll see a rainbow with muted colors, plus the date. Tap the '+' on the right side of the screen to add food you've eaten. You can search for food by name or color. That way, if you run out of ideas for foods of a certain color, you can easily search for new suggestions. Fill in the rainbow with what you eat. Your goal is to eat 10 different foods while also eating foods of seven different colors.
Another advantage of using Eat the Rainbow: Food Journal is its nutritionist feature. If you tap on this tab at the bottom of the screen, you can see more food-related information sorted by benefits, food, and color. By tapping on the benefits section, you can learn more about aspects of your health (like acne, cholesterol, constipation, diabetes, and so on). Tap on one of these issues to see what kinds of foods you can eat to help. By tapping on color, on the other hand, you can learn about the benefits provided by food of that color, and by tapping on food, you can see the benefits of eating particular foods.
Eat the Rainbow: Food Journal is an excellent app if you want to track what you eat while also improving your diet's variety.
